ACSDSD Deputy Executive Director Joins Judging Panel at SX Youth Speech Contest 2025

On October 5, 2025, Dr. Anthony Pramualratana, Deputy Executive Director of the ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD), proudly served as a judge at the SX Youth Speech Contest 2025, held during the Sustainability Expo (SX 2025) at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC). Themed “Adaptation and Collaboration for a Sustainable Future,” the contest spotlighted the voices of emerging changemakers across ASEAN who are shaping tomorrow’s climate solutions.

“Climate adaptation is no longer optional, it’s a necessity,”
“It safeguards vulnerable communities, strengthens resilience, and ensures development pathways remain viable in a changing world.”

Dr. Pramualratana also called for collaboration at every level—local, regional, and global—to accelerate inclusive climate action. “Youth voices must be heard, empowered, and integrated into policy frameworks. Their vision is not just inspiring—it’s essential.”

ACAI to join ACSDSD’s ASEAN Networking Symposium 2026

On 10 March 2026, ACSDSD Deputy Executive Director Dr. Anthony Pramualratana and ACSDSD Communications Officer Ms. Pakjira Numchaisombut met with Dr. Somsak Akksilp, Executive Director of the ASEAN Centre for Active Ageing and Innovation (ACAI), to pave the way for collaboration ahead of the ASEAN Networking Symposium 2026. Dr. Anthony highlighted two key outcome of the symposium: the need for synergy across ASEAN’s development pillars and the promotion of best practices in ASEAN Centres collaboration. He also invited ACAI to participate in the symposium to discover synergies among ASEAN Centres. Both institutions agreed to integrate a people-to-people approach into ASEAN’s sustainable development agenda, and ACAI confirmed its participation, marking a step toward inclusive, people-centered sustainability across the region.
