ACSDSD welcomed Secretary General of the ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC)

On 22 May 2025, the ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD) welcomed H.E. Kim Jae-shin, Secretary General of the ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC), for a courtesy visit at Mahidol University.

 

The meeting, attended by Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana, Executive Director (via Zoom), and Dr. Anthony Pramualratana, Deputy Executive Director of ACSDSD, aimed to explore potential collaboration between the two organizations.

 

ACSDSD proposed a partnership for the ASEAN Youth Camp in 2026 and will submit a formal proposal in due course. The AKC shared its ongoing youth-focused workshops held in Korea and plans to invite ACSDSD’s Executive Director or representative to participate in its upcoming “Innovative Talk” event. The visit marked a positive step toward future cooperation in promoting regional development and youth engagement.
