ASEAN SDGs Youth Camp: Empowering Agents of Change for SDGs
On 30th October 2023, ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD), Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mahidol University welcomed 32 youth representatives from ASEAN Member States, Timor-Leste, and Japan who attended the “ASEAN SDGs Youth Camp: Empowering Agents of Change for SDGs” which was arranged on 30 October-3 November 2023 in Bangkok. Mr. Chirachai Punkrasin, Executive Director, ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD), delivered welcoming remarks for the event, emphasising the role of youths as agents of change for equitable and sustainable world.
The ASEAN SDGs Youth Camp was co-organised by ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD), Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mahidol University to promote the role of youth as Agents of Change through 1-week programme with workshops, group works, and site visits aimed at incubating youth ideas on SDGs best practices including at the Terra Cycle, Bang Krachao, and the Forestias Project.
