Participation in the 9th Forum of Entities Associated with ASEAN
On 18 June 2025, Executive Director Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana and Ms. Suchada Phruthonkul Project Manager, attended the 9th Forum of Entities Associated with ASEAN, held in Jakarta, Indonesia, under the theme “Inclusivity and Sustainability.” The event brought together ASEAN’s 81 accredited entities, Centres of Excellence, and key stakeholders to exchange views, enhance collaboration, and explore potential synergies.
During the forum, Ms. Sangasubana delivered a presentation entitled “Introduction to ACSDSD,” providing an overview of the Centre’s objectives and ongoing initiatives.
ACSDSD also paid a courtesy call on Her Excellency Ambassador Phantipha lamsudha Ekarohit, Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN with a view to explore possible ways for ACSDSD to engage actively with ASEAN Bodies and ASEAN Secretariat to promote regional sustainable development.
In addition, ACSDSD also held discussions with Mr. Frank Feulner, Team Leader of EU SCOPE Higher Education, and Mr. JĂśrg Meier, Key Expert for the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) under the Enhanced Regional EU-ASEAN Dialogue Instrument (E-READI) with a view to update each other on activities and collaborations.
