ACSDSD welcomes the partnerships with YALPI 2026 team

On 10 February 2026, the  ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD) invited Young ASEAN Leadership Policy Initiatives (YALPI) for a meeting to solidify potential collaboration on youth empowerment and sustainable development.

As YALPI organizes its 2026 annual conference under the theme “Thriving Together In a Boiling World: Advancing Economic Growth and Climate Resilience in ASEAN”,which will be held in Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok from 9th – 13th March 2026, the ACSDSD is joining as the commentator of YALPI conference 2026.

The Young ASEAN Leaders Policy Initiative (YALPI) is an international forum that gathers and empowers young people to address current social issues with a bottom-up approach. Dedicated to bringing youths’ visions into reality, YALPI works with scholars and experts in each year’s relevant fields to equip our delegates with useful information and guidelines.

ACAI to join ACSDSD’s ASEAN Networking Symposium 2026

On 10 March 2026, ACSDSD Deputy Executive Director Dr. Anthony Pramualratana and ACSDSD Communications Officer Ms. Pakjira Numchaisombut met with Dr. Somsak Akksilp, Executive Director of the ASEAN Centre for Active Ageing and Innovation (ACAI), to pave the way for collaboration ahead of the ASEAN Networking Symposium 2026. Dr. Anthony highlighted two key outcome of the symposium: the need for synergy across ASEAN’s development pillars and the promotion of best practices in ASEAN Centres collaboration. He also invited ACAI to participate in the symposium to discover synergies among ASEAN Centres. Both institutions agreed to integrate a people-to-people approach into ASEAN’s sustainable development agenda, and ACAI confirmed its participation, marking a step toward inclusive, people-centered sustainability across the region.
