The ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD) paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ms. Catherine Wong Siow Ping, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to Thailand, on 4 November 2025. The ACSDSD delegation comprised Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana, Executive Director, Dr. Anthony Pramualratana, Deputy Executive Director, and Ms. Suchada Phruthonkul, Project Manager.

The visit aimed to introduce ACSDSD’s commitment as we maintain our activities as a legal entity under Thai law, reflecting its enhanced independence and operational flexibility. The delegation also outlined ACSDSD’s strategic priorities to strengthen its visibility, deepen integration within ASEAN frameworks, and advance key initiatives such as the ASEAN Circular Economy Forum.

During the meeting, ACSDSD invited Singapore to collaborate on sustainable development projects in areas aligned with Singapore’s priorities, including water management, waste management, food security, and energy sustainability. Such cooperation would be able to leverage the extensive regional network across academic, governmental, and private sectors, enabling greater participation in ASEAN environmental and sustainable development platforms.

The meeting concluded with mutual interest in exploring avenues for partnership, particularly through initiatives that advance innovation, investment, and knowledge sharing in sustainability across the ASEAN region.
