Courtesy call to Timor-Leste Ambassador
On Monday, 22 December 2025, at the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste in Thailand, Bangkok, the delegation from the ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD), led by Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana, Executive Director, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Francisco Tilman Cepeda, Ambassador of Timor-Leste to Thailand. The meeting aimed to extend congratulations on Timor-Leste’s accession as a new member of ASEAN, which also confers its membership in the ACSDSD Governing Council, and to invite the Ambassador to participate in the 9th and 10th ACSDSD Governing Council Meetings, as well as to introduce the background, mandate, and role of ACSDSD in promoting sustainable development within the ASEAN region.
