Seminar on the Human Report 2021/22: “Uncertain Times, Unsettled Lives: Shaping our Future in a Transforming World, Reflections on and Implications for Human Development in Thailand”
On May 31, 2023, UNDP Thailand and ACSDSD co-hosted a seminar on the Human Report 2021/22: “Uncertain Times, Unsettled Lives: Shaping our Future in a Transforming World, Reflections on and Implications for Human Development in Thailand” at the College of Management, Mahidol University.
The event featured remarks by Mr. Renaud Meyer, Resident Representative of UNDP in Thailand, Mr. Chirachai Punkrasin, Executive Director of ACSDSD, and Ms. Gita Sabharwal, UN Resident Coordinator. Ms. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, delivered a keynote speech.
After the presentation of the key report findings by the UNDP team, the floor was open for a panel discussion on shaping Thailand’s future in a world in transformation by panelists from economic, social, and environmental fields. The discussion will help in formulating policy recommendations on human development for Thailand’s incoming administration.
