ACSDSD and CMMU co-development of educational program partnership

On 8 August 2025, Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana, Executive Director of the ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD) and ACSDSD team met with  Associate Professor Prattana Punnakitikashem, PhD., the Dean of College of Management, Mahidol University (CMMU), together with her team. 

This visit provided an opportunity to deepen discussions between ACSDSD and CMMU on the co-development of educational program (Ph.D. in Sustainable Leadership)and joint research projects. We believe that this partnership will enhance and promote the knowledge of sustainability and actions across ASEAN.

CMMU and ACSDSD had a long-standing academic partnership on research grants for sustainable development studies.

ACAI to join ACSDSD’s ASEAN Networking Symposium 2026

On 10 March 2026, ACSDSD Deputy Executive Director Dr. Anthony Pramualratana and ACSDSD Communications Officer Ms. Pakjira Numchaisombut met with Dr. Somsak Akksilp, Executive Director of the ASEAN Centre for Active Ageing and Innovation (ACAI), to pave the way for collaboration ahead of the ASEAN Networking Symposium 2026. Dr. Anthony highlighted two key outcome of the symposium: the need for synergy across ASEAN’s development pillars and the promotion of best practices in ASEAN Centres collaboration. He also invited ACAI to participate in the symposium to discover synergies among ASEAN Centres. Both institutions agreed to integrate a people-to-people approach into ASEAN’s sustainable development agenda, and ACAI confirmed its participation, marking a step toward inclusive, people-centered sustainability across the region.
