ACSDSD met with the Embassy of Japan

Today (2 April) ED Narong Sasitorn (ACSD) called on H.E. Nashida Kazuya, Ambassador of Japan to Thailand. They discussed ACSDSD’s priorities/work plans and exchanged ideas on how Japan contributes to regional efforts in achieving SDGs and realizing the 2025 ASEAN Vision. The 2019 summit between ASEAN and Japan adopted a joint statement on connectivity which is one of the five priority areas in the Complimentarities Roadmap. Sustainable development is the new norm. We are looking forward to an even closer partnership with Japan.
