Executive Director of ACSDSD Paid a Courtesy Call on the Director-General of the Department of International Organizations

On 14 July 2025 at 10.30 hrs, H.E. Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana, Executive Director of the ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD), paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.

During the meeting, also attended by Deputy Director-General of the Cataleya Phatoomros of the Department of International Organizations, the Executive Director provided an update on the current work and direction of the Centre, highlighting its independence, professionalism, and role as a regional centre of excellence on sustainable development. The discussion also explored potential areas for cooperation between ACSDSD and the Department of International Organizations, as both organisations shared aspirations to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the region. 

It is worth noting that Thailand has made significant progress in the implementation of SDGs, particularly in achieving SDG 1 (No Poverty)🛺🏚 and SDG 4 (Quality Education)📖📚, and currently ranks among the top in ASEAN in SDG performance.🥇 Acknowledging these milestones, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to support cooperation to strengthen partnerships and promote regional cooperation in support of sustainable development across all sectors.
