H.E. Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana paid a Courtesy Call on H.E. Mrs. Millicent Cruz-Paredes, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Thailand
On 31 October 2025, H.E. Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana, Executive Director of the ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD), together with ดร. แอนโทนี ปรมวลรัตน์, Deputy Executive Director, and นางสาวสุชาดา พฤทธรกุล, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Millicent Cruz-Paredes, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Thailand, at the Embassy.
H.E. the Ambassador was accompanied by Mr. Jonathan Andrew D. Chua, Second Secretary and Consul, and Ms. Nathalie Angeles, Attaché, who warmly welcomed the delegation.
The Executive Director extended congratulations to the Republic of the Philippines on the symbolic handover the ASEAN Chairmanship that will start in 2026, during which H.E. the Ambassador will also assume the role of Chair of the ACSDSD Governing Council in Bangkok.
The meeting focused on updates regarding the Centre’s progress and future directions. The Executive Director highlighted the Centre’s priority to establish a solid foundation for its independent operations, enhance its visibility, and strengthen its role as a platform for dialogue, partnership, and knowledge sharing between and within relevant sectors on sustainable development.
Both sides also explored opportunities for future collaboration, including joint activities related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as webinars and workshops.
