On 22 September 2025, the ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD), led by Executive Director Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana, together with Dr. Anthony Pramualratana, Deputy Executive Director, and Ms. Suchada Phruthonkul, Project Manager, paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Somsak Akksilp, Executive Director of the ASEAN Centre for Active Ageing and Innovation (ACAI) at the Ministry of Public Health in Nonthaburi Province.

The ACSDSD delegation was warmly welcomed by the Executive Director of ACAI, along with his team, including Dr. Kyaw Min Soe (Head of Policy Advocacy, IEC, and Capacity Building), Mr. Suguru Ito (Head of Strategy, Planning, and M&E), Ms. Kanittha Tantrajin (Head of Administration), Dr. Vo Thi Hue Man (Plan and Policy Analyst), and Ms. Napatsorn Phaviparkyotin (Human Resources Officer).

During the meeting, the two Centres exchanged views on the establishment of ASEAN entities, organizational structures, institutional objectives, and strategic management approaches. Both sides also shared insights on future directions and areas of cooperation.

The discussion concluded with a mutual interest to deepen collaboration, particularly in relations to ACAI’s ongoing Rayong Project, which may serve as a starting point for joint initiatives between ACSDSD and ACAI.
